# Worldwide calling

> Understand which calling destinations require account verification and how to request access

**Worldwide calling** allows calls, transfers, and redirects beyond the trusted countries. If it is not already enabled for your account, you can request access through account verification.

## Why verification is required

Unauthorized calls can generate unexpected charges, especially when an account is used to call or forward calls to expensive destinations. Account verification helps telli prevent this abuse and protect your account from fraud.

Verification is an account security check. You do not need to upgrade your plan to request it.

## Countries available without verification

You can call phone numbers in these countries:

* 🇩🇪 Germany
* 🇺🇸 United States
* 🇬🇧 United Kingdom
* 🇳🇱 Netherlands
* 🇫🇷 France
* 🇦🇹 Austria
* 🇨🇭 Switzerland
* 🇪🇸 Spain
* 🇨🇦 Canada

The same destination rules apply to outgoing calls, [call transfers](/deep-dives/call-transfer), agent redirects, and account-level redirects.

<Note>
  You can still receive calls from any country and create contacts with phone numbers from any country. If you transfer or redirect an incoming call, the destination must be in a trusted country or your account must have Worldwide calling enabled.
</Note>

## Request verification

Open [Settings > Organization](https://app.telli.com/_/settings/organization#worldwide-calling) and find Worldwide calling in the Advanced section at the bottom. Select Request verification and send the prepared email to support. If the setting shows Enabled, you already have access.
